Oh,
one more thing, Mr. Yurchey's article lost me in the
second paragraph when he stated that the angels were ‘human.’ The Bible is quite clear that angels are NOT
human. I didn't bother reading any
further.
Unfortunately,
that shows the ARROGANCE of your standpoint and the NARROW-MINDED view that you
have. You REFUSED to even entertain a notion that is different from your own
and ‘did not read any further.’ Sure,
this guy may seem a little unbalanced to you, but I thought the article was
interesting and insightful and worth reading, even if you read it simply for a
laugh. I for one, find that it contains
some very interesting points. You,
however, refused to give it a try, but you expect everyone else to read and
swallow YOUR Bible. Utter hypocrisy!!!
I seem to have proved my point that you have a VERY ARROGANT AND SELF-CENTERED
viewpoint and that your refusal to even LISTEN to a point of view other than
your own. Well, Christians always talk
about HUMILITY. Where's yours??? I never
said you had to like the article, or believe it, but your arrogance to not even
read it shows how JUDGEMENTAL you really are!

This was, I felt, one of the more
interesting of Doug Yurchey's points in the 2-12 show
(made in reference to his ex-wife). It kinda makes sense, too. If we, garden-variety, living human
beings, are physical entities that are (mostly) tied to a specific non-physical
consciousness (our souls) then what's to say that another non-physical entity
with the right mojo and willpower couldn't grab the
controls and go for a joyride. And, if
the shunting-aside or suppressing of the 'owner' identity is a part of the
deal, it makes sense that it would take time to recall their identity and be
operating more-or less minimally and autonomically in
the meanwhile.

one theory that cannot be discounted or overlooked is quite a simple statement.
Put in terms of reincarnation, it makes
perfect sense. Doug Yurchey states this

excellent essay, with fun psychedelic fractal graphics, by one Doug Yurchey. He even used to do background artwork for,

Think about it - our methods of electricity and fuels are primitive in
comparison with what science says (now) is possible. If you look at UFOlogy,
you find that methods of propulsion were from the elements of ‘nature’ working

What pseudo-scientists are
saying about the threat of an asteroid impact on Earth:
In terms of the presence of asteroids in our solar system, one
might want to begin by asking how and why they got here. Well the 'official' view, as set out by NASA,
is that 'asteroids and comets
are believed to be ancient remnants of the earliest years of the formation of
our solar system more than four billion years ago' (NASA: Near Earth Object Programme, FAQ). However, in an article, 'The artificial world we live in' (2005) Doug
Yurchey argues that some asteroids are most likely remnants from blown-up
planets in our solar system. He writes,
'Could the early Martians [a planet of war] have gone to war with the planet
that became the Asteroid Belt? Did the Martians blow it up? Is what
we found in the gap, the aftermath of a great war of the planets?' In trying to explain some of the mysteries of
the Universe (such as why we only see one side of the moon, and why it is made
of a metallic substance), Yurchey likens our perception of 'reality' to that of
The Truman Show. In doing so he suggests
that nothing 
in the Solar System is 'natural' but has
been 'designed' to give us the illusion that it is. Therefore, a 'natural event' such as an
asteroid hitting Earth leading to the mass destruction of life, will not
happen. Yurchey writes, 'A meteor did
not wipe out the dinosaurs 65 million years ago... Life forms were artificially
manufactured and their annihilation [was also] a purposeful act…It should be
noted that one reason why Yurchey holds these views is because he believes we
have been 'created' by a technologically advanced human species. He also believes Western governments are
currently with-holding the 'truth' about the nature of the world, because they
do not want people to discover that the Feds are presently operating from a
secret base on the Moon ('We have not returned to the Moon because we are
covertly there') and that there is a military presence on Mars ('The probes
were made to fail so we do not discover a military presence already on Mars').

Doug Likes to Google Himself
Way back in March when I started this site
I had high ambitions. One of those ambitions is the now dormant Word of
the Day page. On the 12th of April I decided to add an example after
the definition of the word of the day, it was going to be my trademark on my
little space on the web. The second day I did this I made a comment about a one
Doug Yurchey being a crackpot and a crackpot scheme is anything that comes out
of his mouth. There was, however, someone who didn't agree with this statement.
I first found out about Doug by reading a
few of his articles on the Paranormal News website, which I found while
researching John Titor (if you don't know, you don't want to, but if you insist
do a Google search), and other various paranormal
stuff. While I found his articles interesting I also found them a bit hard to
swallow. So I decided to put said above statement on my website, I thought no
one would even notice. How wrong I was.
For some reason I put my Email address on
my bio
page (it's since been removed, keep reading and you'll understand). So May
rolls around and I recieve this Email. That's right, the one and only Doug
Yurchey has chosen me of all people to send an Email to. Wow!
After reading the email through a few times
I began to feel that it was quite obvious that he had seen my whole website and
not just the blurb as he claimed, how else would he have gotten my Email
address? So I didn't respond and recieved my second
letter from Mr. Yurchy. (I have no idea what Frank Barone comment he
is referring to, it seems that Doug is a little confused). After this I decided
that a response was necessary, so I took a few days to collect my thoughts and
sent him this. A few days went by and he responded.
In this email Doug writes, "You're right about sometimes I do write pure
speculation without giving proof - but I don't think proof is a
requirement." And then, "I want to assure my critics that I am coming
from a point of knowledge and information...not just wild speculation or
sensationalism." These two statements are blatant contradictions. This
email came attatched with 2 articles, one was The Sith Have Taken Over the U.S. I don't
remember what the other one was...
Spring turns into Summer turns into late
Summer and I've all but forgotten about my discourse with Doug when I recieve
this nice
Email. Yup, Doug's back and he's pissed. He's referring to a post
that I made on April 1st, which was long before he started Emailing me. He
seems to be a bit confused because I was not saying that he's not an author, as
he claims that I was. I was saying how I thought it was annoying that he
referred to himself as "the author of this article," instead of just
saying "I." So I sent him this
Email. To which he responded.
Thus ended my communication with Doug
through Email (for now anyways, I'm sure he'll read this (HI DOUG!) and have
something to say about it). However, right around the time of the second
Emailing I recieved an Email from Doug's "cousin." I do have my
doubts that it really was his cousin, but I have no evidence of the contrary so
I'll just assume that it's a weird coincidence and leave it at that. Here's
what his cousin had to say. After some consideration I decided to respond,
to which I recieved a thank you email, I don't have it saved and even if it did
it wouldn't be an interesting read.
To be quite honest I don't think that what
I posted about Doug being a crackpot was quite fair to him, since I really
didn't know him. But after what you've read would you argue with me? Now that
I've had this chance to communicate with him I feel that I have a right to call
him a crackpot now. So Doug, I know you're reading this, I apologize for
calling you a crackpot on April 13, 2005 in my Word of the Day section. That
being said, Doug, I think that you are a fucking crackpot. Please, please find
better things to do with your time than send angry Emails to people who
criticize your work.

field, and they can be combined in play to attain the higher, third level of
movement and capture attributes. Players
may combine and un-combine the two types of pieces at will throughout the game.
Promotions and demotions in Yurchey are
not related, however, to pieces landing on predetermined promotion spaces on
the board; and attaining promotion of a piece is not conditioned upon movement
of the piece to another board.’

Abstract:
A family of five board games
with chess-like features played on a board of 64 white and off-white squares by
two opposing players. Each player moves 16 pieces arrayed on the two rows
closest to the player: 8 hollow domes each named RxM where x=A,E,I,O or U, on
the back row; and 8 smaller solid hemispheres each named VOID on the second
row. Four games are played with 8 identical RxMs per player, a RAM moving like
a Rook, a REM like a Queen, a RIM like a Knight, and a ROM like a Bishop. The
object of these games is to capture all the opponent's pieces. The fifth game
has two each RAMs, RIMs, ROMs, and two RUMs moving like Kings, on the back row.
